Laser Hair Removal 
Treatment for: unwanted hair growth at multiple sites(legs,arms,back,bikini)

Description: We use an ND-YAG laser which is good for all skin types in the removal of hair. The laser acts by heating the part of the hair follicle which is in an active growth part of its lifecyle. All the hairs in the same area are not in the same phase of the cycleat the same time. This is why laser hair removal requires several visits. The average person requires 4-6 visits. We apply a topical anesthetic to minimize discomfort to the treatment area. During your initial consultation we will do a test patch on your skin to determine whether this is an appropriate treatment for your skin and hair type. You will also get the chance to see how the actual treatment will feel as well.

Restylane 
Treatment for wrinkles, lip enhancement, acne scars.

Description: Restylane is a dermal filler which is injected into areas beneath your skin. Restylane is like collagen except that it is completely synthetic(not made from animals). Restylane when injected slightly below the surface of the skin helps to fill out wrinkles and depressed scars. It can also be used to enhance your lips making them appear fuller. The effects last about 3-6 months.

Botox 
Treatment for:  Wrinkles

Description: Used for years to treat muscle spasms in the eye, Botox has now been used for the last 10 years as cosmetic procedure to immobilize the muscles that allow you to furrow your brow, wrinkle your forehead or squint & create crows feet or laugh lines. The smallest needle is used to inject specific muscles. 4 days to 1 week later you look younger! Repeated in 3-6 month intervals this procedure lasts longer the more you do it as the muscles in question get "trained.

Laser Vein Treatments 
Treatment for: Rosacea/Facial Veins/Spider Veins/Telengectasia

Description: An excellent treatment for facial veins, this is a physician administered procedure. Lasers can also be used to treat the capillaries seen in the skin of patients with rosacea. The laser causes thermal injury to these blood vessels causing them to collapse and eventually disappear. Not all veins are treatable with a laser. During your initial consultation the doctor will work with you on identifying the most troublesome spots and determine the best treatment plan for you.

Microdermabrasion 
Treatment for: Photoaging/Hyperpigmentation

Description: Microdermabrasion is a mechanical exfoliation of the surface of your skin. The concept is similar to that of traditional facial scrubs using medical grade equipment. The machine blows crystals across your face helping to rid the surface of unwanted dead skin while a gentle vacuum helps stimulate the blood vessels and encourage new healthy tissue growth. After the treatment you may experience some redness which fades quickly. We often use microdermabrasion in conjunction with chemical peels to optimize your results.

Sclerotherapy 
Treatment for: Varicose Veins

Description: Varicose veins are moderate sized veins which become dilated when the valves of the vein become incompetent. One of the treatments available for eliminating these varicosities is sclerotherapy. A sclerosing agent is injected into the veins and you will be required to wear compression stockings for several weeks after the procedure. During your consultation the doctor will be able to determine whether this treatment is right for you.

Chemical Peels 
Treatment for: Hyperpigmentation, Rosacea, Wrinkles/Photoaging, Acne

Chemical peels are acidic medications which are brushed onto the skin which are targeted to treat specific problems. Customized treatments are available for your particular skin type. We use all natural products with no chemical fillers or preservatives and try to provide the skin with all the vital nutrients it will need to renew your skin. Chemical peels can be used on the face or areas of the body that need smoothing or depigmentation. For instance it can be used on the decollatage to treat sun spots or on the derriere to create a great bikini bottom. We often use combination therapy with microdermabrasion or ultrasound to maximize the results.
